I met a woman from France yesterday. Her name was… France.
I’ve met people named France before, but they were all Québécoises — with maybe the odd Belgian in there somewhere. I can understand when members of the French diaspora use the name "France," for reasons of nostalgia or perhaps envy — but for a native? It just seems odd.
To protest, I suggested to Martine that we have a baby and name it "Canada Quebec Pagé-Hawco."
Oddly, she didn’t like the idea.

It was the “having a baby” part I wasn’t so keen on.

I think I can beat this (apart from knowing someone from France called Francois, which is a pretty lame example, and someone from Georgia (USSR) called Giorgio): “Randy Grandy from Grand Bank”… real person, always introduced himself exactly as above…

I like Harry’s idea, so far as names go. But I’ll back Martine up on this one.
