Photos from Cinque Terre (Italy)

Loyal readers will remember that Martine and I went to Italy last May. We spent four days in Cinque Terre on the Ligurian coast, and I’ve finally gotten around to making a photo set on Flickr for some of the photos from that leg of the trip.

You can see it here. Next up: Florence and Tuscany (don’t hold your breath – at this rate, I’ll be June by the time I get to it).

  1. Those photos and that landscape are amazing. You’ve really piqued my interest in travelling there.

  2. Remember that “Driving in Rome” video you had from about 2 weeks ago? I was on my exercise bike last night, and it occurred to me that you should sell footage like this for people who get dead bored on their stationery bikes! Racing through Rome! Much better than staring at Mile End living room wall… :-)

  3. Wow, I could use a vacation like that right about now. Great photos. I love the steep staircase ones (esp. the one with the little girl).

  4. Beautiful spot! I visited Cinque Terre in 1990 on a post-university backpacking trip. Those photos bring back some great memories. Nice to know there are a few places where the almighty automobile can’t go.
