Blork Blog Comment Policy
Comments on the Blork Blog will not be erased unless one or more of the following conditions are met:
- The comment is clearly "comment spam"
- The author of the comment requests it be deleted
- There was an accidental "double-post" comment, in which case the first posted of the two will be deleted
- The comment's prime motivation is clearly to promote or elicit racism, sexism, or other forms of hatred
Comments on the Blork Blog will not be edited unless one or more of the following conditions are met:
- The author of the comment requests it be edited
- A link in the comment is badly coded or contains an incorrect URL, in which case I will likely (but not necessarily) fix it
- The comment contains a minor typographical error, in which case there is a small but unlikely chance that I will edit it (but only if it does not change the original meaning or intention)
This policy is not binding. (How could it be?) Rather, the purpose of posting it here is simply to let readers know where I stand on the issue. (Note: my spam filter catches about 200 comment spams a day. Although I review the spams, there is a chance that a legitimate comment might get cleared as a spam.)
