Montreal has experienced one of its wettest summers in recent memory. Lots of rain, tropical rain that crawls in on the heat and humidity and pours down in ten-minute gushes over the space of an hour or two every day. The down side is that we're all waterlogged and the farmers are complaining it's difficult to harvest. Also, the high water in the rivers has lead to an unusually high number of drownings. The upside is that every day we are treated to dramatic skies that you expect to see in the Caribbean, not way up here in the Great White North.
