Seal Island Bridge
After a few days in Sydney we headed for the Cabot Trail. One of the first landmarks along the way is the Seal Island Bridge, seen here from Kelly's Mountain. When I was a kid my family would often go camping and fishing in central Cape Breton and we crossed this bridge on the way. It is the only bridge of any significant size on the island of Cape Breton, and I think it was my love for it that sparked my life-long fascination with bridges.
