Lunch in Trastevere

Lunch in Trastevere

Trastevere (Rome)

Trastevere is a part of Rome on the "other side" of the Tiber river (the same side as the Vatican). We went there for lunch one day, where we found this nice little place on a side street with a small terrace (about four tables). As usual, we had pasta.

Mine is tagliatele with porchini mushrooms (in a very buttery sauce) and Martine's is a ravioli stuffed with something interesting (I don't remember what), also in a very buttery sauce.

Both dishes were quite rich, really tasty!
