In Pienza we stumbled into the very swishy "La Terrazza Del Chiostro" for lunch. We started with smoked goose on a bed of arugula with olive oil and strawberry vinegar (this is one order, divided). Then I had hand-made gnocci with wild boar and Martine had "maccheroni" (a tube pasta) with shrimp. We each had a nice glass of wine to go with it – the waiter's recommendation.
The food was outstanding, and the view of the Tuscan countryside was breath-taking.
