Pizza Romana

This was our first meal in Rome. After we got into our apartment, took a nap, and cleaned ourselves up, we went out into the Campo dei Fiori to look around. Just around the corner was a place serving takeaway focaccia and "pizza romana." Pizza romana is bascially focaccia bread split and stuffed so it's a sandwich. They warm it up in a panini press for a few minutes.
We had several pizza romanos in the coming days and weeks, but this first one was the best!
