Things sure can get crowded in Rome. Here in the Jewish quarter, we stopped for dinner at a restaurant with a sidewalk terrace. We shared a mixed grill of meats and seafood, along with a salad. The food was uneven – some things very good and some over-done and dry. It was a nice setting, however, except for the proximity of the cars.
I took this shot a few seconds after this car pulled in and parked a few inches (literally) from our table. In Rome this is completely normal. The guy who parked the car did not even nod or shrug at us. We're just people on the sidewalk and he's just a guy parking his car. Nothing to see here. Move along.
