No direct connection. The picture and the title are primarily a comment on the fact that it’s snowing in April. But “And so it goes” is a Kurt Vonnegut catch-phrase (originating in Slaughterhouse Five), so I wanted to dedicate the post to Kurt Vonnegut (that’s why the R.I.P. is in parentheses — to indicate it is indirect).
Plus the building looks sort of like a giant gravestone, and with the way the top disappears into the sky and all I though it looked sort of death-like.
Oh! Well, now you can tell I haven’t been back home to Montréal in a while. (I was out in Calgary from 1996 until recently and I’ve just recently moved to Ottawa so I’m close, but not quite there yet)
I’ll need to reorient myself with the city someday. Yikes.
beautiful picture…
Thanks. I can’t believe I didn’t get snow on the lens!
Is there a connection between Vonnegut and the stock exchange?

What… that wasn’t clear? ;-)
To whom it may concern: It is springtime. It is late afternoon. - Kurt Vonnegut (fr. Lonesome No More)
amazing photograph…
It was all abundantly clear to me.
For a split second, however, I thought I was looking at one of the Twin Towers…
It took me a while to realize that that was the CIBC building downtown. It’s a very nice (and spooky almost) photo.
(And with all that snow, not a flake on your lenses?)
atédé, it’s not the CIBC building — it’s the stock exchange building at Square Victoria.

And so it continues! I really want to get my bicycle out. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has sent me to my room without Spring.
