Cat on a post
I’m still getting over my insanity. In the meantime, I present to you this cat picture in spite of the return of Laurent’s “Blogue san chat” stance.
This is my retarded brilliant cat, The Mini, sparing his black ass from the melting snow by sitting on a solar-powered garden lamp. As Maggie says in a comment where this photo is posted on Flickr, “Yet more proof that cats have a mission - to sit (or preferably sleep) on every available surface, no matter how impractical.”
In the meantime, Laurent’s anti-cat-blogging stance is in question after sources reveal his secret meeting in the jungle with representatives of the PDF (Parti Des Félins).

Just getting to that impractical sitting surface required some determination, and, one would assume, forethought.

They are crafty critters. But on the other hand, he could have just stayed on the step where it was dry and doesn’t require a balancing act.
As my dog often says: “If God put this* here, it’s because he wants us tp pee on it”.
*: just about anything: lamp post, branch, pack of leaves, paper, everthing!
that cat is cute! when you posted about nearly losing him, i was all verklempt. and as someone who does not even owncare for a cat, i have posted twice in the last 2 weeks alone about cats…
Oh he is just adorable. It is very hard to photograph a black cat, because their coats like to just absorb all of the surrounding light. Yours looks very regal and has a beautiful coat. The only thing I’m wondering is, WHERE IS THE LAMP?!
Did it go up his rear!?
