Happy Easter Nightmare…
If you’ve ever wondered what became of Louis XIV, he seems to have been reincarnated as the Easter Bunny. Or at least an Easter Bunny.
And what a nasty one. This scary creature — which is full (human) size — adorns the lobby of the building in which I work. I got busted a couple of times by the security guards as I tried to photograph it (apparently it is illegal to photograph the inside of an office building in which there is a bank). I finally managed to snag this slightly fuzzy shot.
I’m not sure why I did so. I don’t think I want this demonic-looking Hell Bunny anywhere near my server space. I mean really, this thing will give you nightmares.
Is this supposed to be for kids? Look at the expression on its face. Does that look like a benevolent bunny who brings sweet chocolate eggs to kiddies on Easter? So not. I wouldn’t let my kids — or anybody else’s kids — anywhere near this creature!

He looks ready for a Louis XV bacchanalia…
Jeebus! Easter Bunny recast as baroque-era dandy or flaneur. Creeps.
Oh, that’s a shame that you don’t like it. I think it’s wonderful! Very Alice in Wonderland, methinks.
IT’S CREEPY!!!
C’mon, it’s a commedia del’arte bunny. There’s nothing wrong with that. Very venetian, actually.
Now, I’d like to quote the Kinks and say “I’m an art lover,” but that would make me a pedophile.
Oh my good lord. GAH.
Thanks, Ed. I’m gonna have nightmares for weeks now.
