Like the time I fell into a lens grinder and made a spectacle of myself…
It’s the Ave. Mont-Royal street festival this weekend, so the street is closed to car traffic between rue St. Hubert and Ave. Papineau. I discovered this when I was out doing some banking on Mont-Royal this afternoon.
I walked my bike the length of the pedestrian-only area, and I was wondering why people were staring at me and smiling. Then I realized it was my Heinz Ketchup t-shirt they were looking at–a shirt which I usually only wear indoors. OK, I can imagine one or two people noticing, but this was crazy–I felt like some kind of TV personality or something.
Although I usually don’t like being conspicuous around people I don’t know, this was sort of fun. I’m thinking about going over to Frites Alors to see if they have a french fries t-shirt that I can buy for M. What a yummy pair we would make!
