Off to Chicago this time, for the forty-somethingith annual STC Conference. Yee haw!
In the meantime, I sat like a slob on the sofa tonight and watched the last few hours of Survivor, which Steve had taped for me. Aside from my undying lust for the far-too-young Elisabeth-with-an-s. the best part was the commercials. Steve had taped it from a direct CBS feed, complete with American commercials, which we usually don’t see. One of those commercials was for the soon-to-be-released Jurassic Park III, which I didn’t even know was in production.
I’ll probably hate it, although I so loved the first two (because of my childhood love of dinosaurs). In fact, I saw the second one, Jurassic Park: The Lost World in Rome, in Italian, which was good because I didn’t have to suffer the script.
I don’t plan any international travel soon though, so I probably will plunk down $12 to see this sucka at the Paramount in Montreal, trying to not pay attention to what they’re saying.
