Saw “O Brother Where Art Thou” tonight with Wendy and Frank, and really liked it. Styled, but not stylish. Funny, clever, and oddly literary. And great old style “dirty thirties” folk music. 4.5 out of 5.
Afterwards, we went to Carlos & Pepes for cheap pitchers, where Wendy and Frank decided to be rude to me. Later, while waiting for the bus in front of the Musee du Beaux Arts, Frank decided I should take it over as my private residence. Then we had fun with Henry Moore’s “Large Totem Head”, which we all know is a big vulva, but I guess you couldn’t call it that back in 1968.
